Abstract

A device for removing the used bedding of a larger animal housed in a stall, having a sheet and a sling connected to a winch via a bracket on a loading apparatus. The device enables the used bedding to be removed quickly, effortlessly and tidily, and consists of a sheet (1) provided with eyelets (2) and hooks (3) and designed to hold at all times the bedding (4) to be removed. The sheet (1) is coupled to sliding rings (5) on a sling (6) connected to a winch (7) via a pivotable bracket (8) on a loading apparatus (11) which a user places alongside the stall with its boom (9) extending towards the centre, before coupling the sheet (1) to the sling (6) and controlling the winch (7) to pull and lift the sheet (1) around the load, thus forming a bag.
