Abstract

The connector comprises an upper portion (2) in the shape of a ring (4) or hook for attaching to the conveyor, and a lower portion (3) shaped to engage with the article to be painted, e.g. by means of a threaded surface (6) or clips. The whole connector is moulded from a conducting plastic - either a plastic/carbon or plastic/metal compound - and it can be made in one piece. Its shape can also be designed to act as a mask for part of the article which does not need to be painted.
