Abstract

The electric heater is fabricated from a 'U'-shaped aluminium channel (1), stood on end. The channel houses columns (9) of a refractory material. The preferred material is stone. The refractory column has an embedded electric heating element. The opening of the channel is filled with a decorative refractory panel (5).
