Abstract

The device consists of a plate (1) dimensioned and shaped for location across the upper part of a conventional bath tub (B). The plate includes a large cut-out (2) in one edge, corresponding in position to the edge of the bath tub.The lower part of the plate is shaped to prevent slippage relative to the bath tub in a direction perpendicular to the edge including the cut-out. The cut-out may alternatively consist of a hole of similar shape through the plate, giving an uninterrupted plate edge surface.
