Abstract

The invention relates to urinals fitted in toilet bowl lids with seats enabling a man to urinate in a standing position without urine getting onto the rim and seat of the bowl or onto the ground around the latter. It comprises: a collector 1 into which the urine 2 is passed, said collector 1 being built into a lid 3, 4 that slides on two parallel tubular arms 5, 6 with a self-braking translational movement 7, the arm 6 carrying water 8 to the collector 1 for flushing while the arm 5 carries the urine 2 and the water 8 away; a member 10 by which the assembly is mounted on the toilet bowl and which enables it to be turned with the self-braking rotary movement 11; and a seat 12 hinged at 13. The combination of the two movements 7 and 11 allows the collector 1 to be maintained automatically at the selected height.
