Ce dispositif à pour but de simplifier et d'améliorer le travail de la taille de bande de papier peint décoratif avant l'application d'une colle murale avec un gain de temps appréciable. Ce travail de/taille se fait traditionnellement par un déroulage manuel sur une table de travail pour effectuer des coupes de longueurs aux ciseaux ou au sabre de colleur ce qui produit des coupes approximativement perpendiculaires hachurées avec des risques de déchirures, et une perte de temps certain, ce dispositif éffectue des coupes orthogonales - - rapides à l'aide d'une lame coupante de type cutter ou autre. Les dessins schématiques illustrent les formes non limitatif de cet appareil, et le déroulement de l'utilisation de celui-ci.La figure (1) représente une vue en perspective prise de trois quart de cet appareil. De plus ce dispositif comble les lacunes de certains appareils de coupes tel que le brevet d'invention nO 2.151.657 dont les inconvénients sont les suivants :: En effet ces appareils se posent sur la table ce qui réduit la surface de travail, ces appareils ne sont pas disponibles en permanence puisqu'il faut les oter pour libérer la table au moment de l'encollage des bandes de papier, ces appareils ne paraissent pas utilisables dans le cas d'une pose lé par lé (cage d'escalier par exemple) puisqu'il faut mesurer, couper, encoller et poser chaque bandes de papier au fur et à mesure de la progression du travail il faudrait donc mettre en place et oter ces appareils à chaque pose murale des bandes de papier ce qui rendrait leur utilisation fastidieuse et non rentable, de plus la tenue des rouleaux sur ces appareils est précaire puisqu'ils sont simplement posés sur ceux-ci et peuvent sortir de leur emplacement au moment ou les rouleaux perdent de leur poids au fur et à mesure du déroulage ce qui oblige l'ouvrier à tenir ces rouleaux sur ces appareils d'une main et de dérouler de l'autre ce qui rend cette opération pénible dans le cas de grandes longueurs de papier.Ce dispositif se détache également de certains appareils ou le déroulage, le découpage et l'encollage sont combinés dont les principaux inconvénients sont les suivants : Ces appareils sont encombrants, ils surchargent de colle les bandes de papier et provoquent des bavures ce qui est catastrophique pour des papiers délicats, ils sont salissants et provoquent un gaspillage de papier certain, ils ne paraissent pas utilisables pour une pose de papier peint à raccord puisque le déroulement à l'encollage ce fait face verso et cache la face décorative ce qui empèche la recherche d'un motif à raccorder, ils ne sont donc pas adaptés à une utilisation chez un particulier pour produire un travail de qualité.F) This compact device can be bulky and light since it is made of thermoplastic material and aluminum profile so it does not fear water in the event of cleaning of traces of glue. * Déroulement de l'utilisation de ce dispositif : On fixe l'appareil en bout de table de travail (e) par un système de blocage manuel (5)
On dégage le début de bande (8) d'un rouleau de papier pour le présenter devant une ouverture (cl ou c2) bisautée à cet effet et l'on glisse le rouleau dans son étui (1) le début de la bande de papier (8) se trouve ainsi introduite dans-l'ouverture (d) et sera maintenue en attente par le bord du cylindre (c) (Fig.2). On attrape avec les doigts le début de bande (8) et l'on tire dans le sens (f) (Fig.4) du déroulement jusqu'à la longueur requise, tout en faisant passer sur la tablette de découpe formés par les profilés (b3 et bl) et entre les deux guides (3).Ensuite on introduit une lame tranchante de type cutter ou autre, dans la fente (4) aménagée à cet effet, et l'on coupe transversalement la bande de papier. La partie de papier (7) ainsi libérée sera glissée avec une main à plat sous le profilé (bl). A noter que ce profilé est dimensionné pour servir de magasin à une trentaine de bandes de papier environ, après leur coupe, et les maintiendra ainsi en attente de leur encollage à plat sur la table. La partie (8) après chaque coupe viendra se plaquer contre le bord (c) du cylindre (1) et sera en attente pour le déroulage suivant (Fig.4) pour les papiers à raccords le rouleau sera inversé dans son étui ce qui permettra d'avoir la face recto visible sur la table indispensable, pour la recherche d'un motif ou d'un raccord de dessin. On retire la fin du rouleau trop court et inutilisable de son étui pour le remplacer aussitot par un nouveau, ce qui permet un travail rapide, sans interruption, avec un gain de temps appréciable. * Procedure for using this device: The device is fixed at the end of the work table (e) by a manual locking system (5)

The paper part (7) thus released will be slid with one hand flat under the profile (bl). Note that this profile is sized to serve as a store for about thirty strips of paper, after cutting, and will thus keep them waiting for their gluing flat on the table. The part (8) after each cut will be pressed against the edge (c) of the cylinder (1) and will be waiting for the next unwinding (Fig. 4) for the connector papers the roll will be reversed in its case which will allow to have the front side visible on the table essential, for the search for a pattern or a drawing fitting. We remove the end of the too short and unusable roll from its case to replace it immediately with a new one, which allows fast work, without interruption, with significant time savings.
