Abstract

The fixed roof structure for a lorry or similar vehicle of the type including a roof element coming to bear and being positioned on longitudinal girders associated with vertical posts is noteworthy in that the roof element is made up of a tarpaulin (7), the longitudinal edges (7.1) of which are positioned, guided and fastened to shaped forms (2.2 - 3.2) which are hollowed out and established on the upper part of the support girders (2 - 3), the said tarpaulin being tensioned and held by a fastening device (8) which is positioned and closely associated with the aforementioned girders at the point at which the longitudinal edges of the tarpaulin bear on the said girders.
