Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible in a simple manner to block containers for household waste. Description

 The present invention relates to a device intended to immobilize the 50OL or 660L trash containers on casters, provided with pins adapted to the loading device in the pick-up truck and to Ictus preventing, in particular after unloading, from moving under the effect of the wind.

 If in town, these containers are placed in sheltered premises, it is not the same in rural areas, where under the effect of the wind, they move, overturn, which can lead to the risk of accidents. and harm the environment.

 The device, according to the inventor, of a very low cost makes it possible to remedy this drawback and to maintain the containers in a palace, thanks to a blocking system which uses their intrinsic shape and in particular their loading pins located on each c8té. According to a first characteristic, it comprises an inverted U-shaped support fixed on a concrete base to which are fixed two movable integral arms terminated by hooks in the form of "gendarmez hat intended to be fixed on the loading pins of the container. .

Two U-shaped handles welded next to the hooks allow the user to easily maneuver the assembly.

 According to the particular embodiments: the inverted U-shaped support is extended upward so as to prevent the lids of the containers from being lifted by the wind and from turning over.

 The locking device of the lugs in the shape of a policeman's hat may include a locking system in the shape of a semicircle collapsing the lugs and actuated by means of a standard key.

With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a reinforced concrete base (1) which, according to the particular embodiments, can be either a simple parallelepiped or a slab-shaped platform terminated at a bevel at one end and having at the other end a higher edge to support the mechanism.

On this base (11) a support in a bent galvanized tube in the shape of an inverted U (2) is fitted into holes previously made in the base.

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended for SOOL or 660L containers (standard models) provided laterally with lugs allowing automatic loading in pick-up trucks.

Claims (6)

1- Device for immobilizing standard containers of household waste characterized in that it comprises a reinforced concrete base (1) on which is fixed an inverted U-shaped support (2) receiving a movable arm (3) blocking thanks to iron half-cylinders welded to these movable arms (5) the pins of the containers. 2- Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the semi-cylinders formed from flat iron (5) have a shape of "policeman's cap" with fairly long edges allowing the automatic positioning of the containers to be immobilized. 3- Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the movable arms (3) which allow the immobilization of the containers are fixed to the support so as to allow movement from the top to the bottom allowing a simple, quick and effective blocking. 4- Device according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that a handle consisting of a round iron formed in U welded to the arm tends to facilitate the operation. 5. Device according to one of the preceding claims characterized in that on the upper part of the fixed support (2) is welded a U-shaped support retoumé (4) inclined at 30 by rappoprt to the support (2). 6- Device according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that the blocking system in the form of "gendarme hat" comprises a locking device actuated by a standard key packing the lugs and thus fixing the arms to the lugs of the container.
