Abstract

The exhaust pipe for mopeds, motorbikes and the like is noteworthy in that it is made up of two half-parts (1-2) of substantially equal length and shape, the said half-parts being arranged with opposing faces (1.1-2.1) capable of being fitted together over a predetermined travel while retaining conditions of leaktightness, and operating like a piston, the other ends of each of the two parts being laid out in a known manner so as to fit respectively to a cylinder head of the motor vehicle in question and to a chassis for supporting the latter.
