Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a pre-dosed pulverulent composition, containing minerals and food raw materials and allowing the end user to make himself a licking block for livestock by simple addition of water.
Currently, only blocks already produced are available on the market.
The object of the invention is to propose a pulverulent product allowing the farmer to make himself licking blocks for livestock (ruminants, horses etc.) from a pre-dosed powder according to mineral formulas and / or food and likely to be taken in solid mass after adding water quite simply.
This object is achieved, in accordance with the invention, because the composition comprises, in addition to food minerals (for example sodium chloride), calcium sulfate with a content by weight of at least 8%.
It is advantageous to add magnesia to the calcium sulphate at a content by weight of at least 8%.
A perfect result is obtained when a cellulosic material in the divided state, such as a food rich in fibers (for example bran) is added to the composition, with a content of at least 8% by weight.
The presence of cellulosic material in a divided state, such as bran, has, in addition to a nutritional benefit for livestock, the advantage of preventing too compact solidification which would make it impossible for livestock to consume the licking block. .
According to a particular aspect of the invention, the composition also comprises trace elements and / or carbonates and / or phosphates and / or oxides and / or chlorides and / or vitamins, all these additional products being, of course, chosen from among those authorized for animal feed.
derniers. All the constituents of the composition according to the invention are dosed harmoniously in order to obtain a supply of calcium, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, potassium, trace elements and vitamins corresponding to
specifications established by technicians or user
for each species of animal and according to the age of these
last.
On donne ci-dessous quelques exemples non
limitatifs de composition selon l'invention. We give below some examples not
limiting of composition according to the invention.
EXEMPLE I
Bloc anti-acide
- sel 28,4 %
poudre.EXAMPLE I
Antacid block
- salt 28.4%
- magnesia 31.6%
- calcium sulfate 26.6%
- sound 13.3%
such a composition made it possible to obtain in
good conditions a lick block as follows:
added 15 to 20 kg of water to 85 kg of this composition in
powder.
EXEMPLE II
Bloc phosphoré
- Bicalcique(s) 30 %
- Sel 20 %
Phosphorus block
- Bicalcique (s) 30%
- Salt 20%
- Magnesia 22%
- Calcium sulphate 18%
- Sound 10%
Bicalciques are products such as
mono-dicalciques or bicalcique of bones. This constituent of the
composition can be replaced by sodium phosphate.
EXEMPLE III
Blocs alimentaires (avec ou sans urée ou
analogue)
- Sous produits mélassés
et/ou tourteaux 50 %
- Sel 8 %
EXAMPLE III
Food blocks (with or without urea or
similar)
- Molasses by-products
and / or oil cake 50%
- Salt 8%
- Magnesia 15%
- Calcium sulfate 13%
- Sound 10%
- Calcium phosphates 4%
It is very advantageous, in all cases, to use white, finely ground magnesia (particle size less than 15 μm and preferably less than 10 μm). This magnesia allows, when adding to the composition a weight of water approximately equal to that of magnesia, to give solidification in a relatively short time, of the order of half an hour.
