Abstract

L'invention concerne un turbocompresseur à gaz d'échappement pour un moteur à combustion interne. Dans le carter 5 de la turbine 2, il est prévu en amont de la roue à aubes 4 de la turbine une roue directrice 12, qui est montée de façon tournante par rapport à la roue à aubes 4; pour pouvoir améliorer le comportement de réaction du moteur à combustion interne après une alternance positive de la charge et sans aucune réduction du rendement global du moteur, il est prévu au moins un dispositif de freinage 17 réduisant la vitesse de rotation de la roue directrice 12 de la turbine dans le domaine des fortes charges; le dispositif de freinage peut être de type sans contact, de type hydraulique ou de type aérodynamique.
