Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to use the winches which serve for operation on the deck of boats (especially sailboats), without effort, at a distance, and with fewer hands. It consists of a casing (1) enclosing a train of reducing gears (2). It accommodates an electric motor (4) which gives the movement and the power to this train of gears (2), the final shaft (3) of which has the function of power, movement and locking connector on the winch used. The motor (4) is remotely controlled by the contactor (5), the relay (6) the control cable with switch (7). The casing is equipped with a rope guide (8) and with a sprung pulley (9) for tensioning the rope. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the persons who carry out manoeuvres on boats equipped with winches.
