On connaît déjà des installations de ce genre qui comprennent un réceptacle comportant une seconde paroi interne perforée servant au passage de l'air de séchage des granulés qui sont ensuite évacués vers la machine de transformation. L'air de séchage est amené dans cet espace lamellaire formé entre le réceptacle et la paroi interne perforée par une tubulure qui débouche radialement au travers de la paroi du réceptacle et il s'ensuit que les granulés situés derrière la paroi perforée en regard de cet orifice radial sont séchés très correctement et cela pratiquement jusqu'au centre du réceptacle alors que, par contre, les granulés qui sont situés à hauteur de la moitié de la cloison perforée opposée à celle comportant le conduit radial d'alimentation en air, ne sont pratiquement pas séchés.
