Abstract

This cushion is of the kind comprising a core of cellular material such as polyurethane foam, enclosed in a textile cover consisting of two pieces of fabric covering its main faces and joined at the edges. According to the invention, it comprises at least one flexible impervious heat-sealable sheet placed between the edges of said pieces of fabric (5, 8), which it enables to be joined together. This cushion is intended to be used on the steps of a stadium and to provide a novel and attractive advertising support.

3 - Cushion or mattress according to claim 2, characterized in that the material constituting said sheet (6) is polyethylene foam of high density compared to that of the flexible cellular material constituting the core (7).

4 - Cushion or mattress according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises a light (3) formed near one of its edges (2a) in order to constitute a carrying handle (4) .

5 - Cushion or mattress according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the pieces (5,8) of fabric are secured to each other in localized areas (10) of its surface thanks to the 'heating of said heat-sealable sheet (6).

6 - Use of the cushion or mattress according to any one of claims 1 to 5 on the stands of a stadium and as a new and attractive advertising medium.
