Abstract

The subject of the present invention is an articulation device for folding doors. It consists of the combination, first, of pivoting (1, 2) and sliding (3) elements mounted in the thickness of the door (5) by means of bushes (4) of a single type made of plastic and of circular cross-section, which are fixed by force in a drillhole made edgeways with a standard drill, subsequently, on two, top and bottom, profiled rails having unequal wings and allowing easy fitting with the frames of most widespread use, and finally, of perforated plates of adjustable position receiving the pivoting elements and being fastened in the abovementioned rails. It is intended to make it easy to mount wooden doors of the "concertina-door" type, which are used currently for apartment cupboards, but which can apply to all types of openings, such as doors of rooms, of cabinets, etc.
