Abstract

The invention relates to a method for assisting in the reproduction of images, especially on large media (supports), essentially employing a video camera and television monitor. According to the invention, the type of method in question consists in reproducing, on a substrate surface (3), using a marking means (5), the outline of a subject located on a transparent mask (4) which is positioned on the screen of the monitor, by making the video image, produced by the camera, of the outline of the said marking means appearing on the video screen, coincide with the outline of the subject to be reproduced, this taking place while the user (6) looks at the video screen which he carries with him.
