Abstract

The present invention relates to an article dispensing box, particularly for dispensing doses of detergent contained in membranes which dissolve in water. This box is characterised in that it comprises an internal box 2 and an envelope 1 closely fitted, one inside the other, both being of prismatic shape, the internal box 2 contains the articles and has, in one of its vertical walls 2c, an outlet window 2g for the articles which is normally closed by an adjacent wall of the envelope 1, this envelope 1 comprises, in its lower part, below the outlet window 2g of the internal box 2, a tear-off strip 4 which can be detached in order to separate the envelope into two, upper and lower, sections so that, after separation of the tear-off strip 4, the upper section of the envelope 1 can be moved upwards, and means 5 to limit the upward travel of the upper section of the envelope 1 to a distance sufficient to uncover the outlet window 2g for the articles provided in the wall 2c of the internal box 2.
