Abstract

A channel section 1 for laying electrical cables of the type which comprises a substantially U-shaped section 3 and means associated with the section for detachably holding a plurality of cables 2 therein comprises a T-shaped base part 7 formed at the bottom 6 of the channel section 1 and including the bottom 6 itself. The base part 7 extends longitudinally in the channel section 1 over at least part of the latter, and the aforementioned means comprise a pair of chassis in the form of a plate 10, 11 which are joined together by a tie bar, the first of them, 10, being engaged detachably in the T-shaped base part 7. Application: laying and holding of electrical cables.

Description

The present invention relates to a gutter intended to lay

  electric cables, and to contain them while protecting them, of the type which comprises a substantially U-shaped profile and means associated with said profile for retaining therein, in a manner

  tachable, a plurality of electric cables.

  The main object that the present invention proposes to achieve is to provide a small

  gutter of the aforementioned type, having characteristics

  structural and functional ques, such that, not only, it guarantees an effective protection and an equally effective maintenance of the electric cables which are placed in it, but also that it allows

  easy, quick and economical installation of electrical cables

  triques, by using fixed-cables of struc-

  simple, easy to handle and use

  and, above all, very high reliability.

  This goal, and others that will appear

  better in the description below, are achieved in

  a gutter of the type in question, characterized in that it comprises a substantially T-shaped base, formed at the bottom of the gutter, comprising the bottom and extending longitudinally in the gutter on at least a portion of it, a first and a second. plate-shaped chassis being associated with each other by at least one tie rod, the first of said

  chassis being detachably engaged in the em-

  With reference to said figures, 1 indicates

  the whole of a gutter intended to pose ca-

  electrical blisters 2 and containing them, which

  body consists essentially of a profile 3 having a cross section substantially in

  U, marks 4 and 5 relating to the side walls

  and marks it 6, at the back wall of it

  In particular, and in accordance with a

  characteristic of this invention, the base 7 is defined by the presence of a pair of flanges 8, 9, extending longitudinally on the walls 4 and opposite the gutter, near the bottom 6

of it.

  The flanges 8, 9 can be formed

  by slats- (not shown) formed by overmoulding-

  ge or otherwise fixed on the walls 4 and 5 of the gutter 1, or they can be constituted by the outer edges of grooves 8a, 9a, which extend longitudinally in the walls 4 and 5 of the gutter 1 and which are obtained during the molding phase (or extrusion or another similar manufacturing technique) thereof. A first plate-shaped chassis 10

  can detachably engage in the base 7.

  A second chassis 11 is associated with the chassis 10 by means of a rod-shaped tie rod 12,

  in a manner which will be specified further.

  According to a preferred embodiment, the

  drawing 12 consists of a fully threaded rod

  tee, one end of which is engaged, by means of a nut and a lock nut 13-14 (FIG. 3) in an orifice 15, made centrally in the plate-shaped chassis 10, while the other

  end, which passes freely through an orifice 16 pra-

  ticked in the central position in the plate-shaped chassis 11, is engaged by a wing nut

  17, with the insertion of a washer 18.

  Chassis 10, 11 and tie rod 12 are

  Advantageously, the plate-shaped chassis 10 and 11 are identical, essentially rectangular, their large side having a length

  Electric cables 12 intended for

  gutter 1 are collected and kept efficient-

  between chassis 10 and 11. The force required

  their effective retention in the gutter 1 is obtained

  naked by the operation of the wing nut 17.

  The invention thus conceived is susceptible of variants which are all within the reach of the technician and which all fall within the framework of the protection of the invention itself. For example, the base 7 for housing the chassis 10 could have a geometrical structure different from that which is

  shown, while ensuring the same rete-

  bare of the chassis and opposed to the action of the wing nut 17. In this regard, one could make a

  gutter whose walls 4 and 5 would converge

  tes, with a predetermined angular position so as to achieve engagement substantially in

  dovetail with plate-shaped chassis 10.

  In addition, the flanges 8 and 9 defining the base 7 can extend over the entire length of

  the gutter or part of it.

  1. Gutter for laying electric cables.   of the type which comprises a profile (3) substantially   in U, and means associated with said profile for main-   fit in it detachably, a plurali-   tee of electric cables (2), characterized in that it comprises a base (7), substantially T-shaped, formed at the bottom (6) of the gutter (1)   and including this bottom (6), and extending longitudinally-   ment in the gutter (1) on at least part of it, a first and a second plate-shaped chassis (10, 11) being associated with each other by at least one tie rod (12), the first of these chassis (10) being detachably engaged in said base (7), substantially T-shaped, in any position along the gutter (1).   2. Gutter according to claim 1, ca-   characterized by the fact that said base (7) senses   t-shaped, extends over the entire length of the gutter (1).   3. Gutter according to claim 1, ca-   characterized by the fact that the base (7) substantially in T, comprises the bottom (6) of the gutter (1) and two flanges (8, 9), extending longitudinally on the corresponding opposite walls (4, 5) from this.   4. Gutter according to claim 3, ca-   characterized by the fact that the edges (8, 9) are formed by corresponding slats, molded or otherwise fixed to the opposite walls (4, 5) of the gutter itself near the bottom (6) thereof.   5.
