Abstract

The device according to the invention is in particular intended for easy mounting of translucent partitions. The block consists of a translucent glass core 2, on which is carried a peripheral injected PVC bead 3 provided with a peripheral slot 4 in which a metal strip 5 is housed, which is used as a reinforcement and stiffener as well as a guide for mounting this block. These translucent blocks can be mounted rapidly using easy adhesive bonding (PVC bonder), with a high degree of leaktightness and a lighter weight, and in addition these metal reinforcement and stiffening strips can be used for cementing the blocks to the floor and to the wall, along their length projecting on the sides.
