Abstract

Mechanism for putting beds away in a small space. The invention relates to a means for retracting one or more beds inside a platform by a manual, semi-automatic or automatic action. It consists of a bed assembly 1, 2, 3 contained inside a platform; a mechanism enabling the bed assembly to be moved translationally; and a mechanism enabling the tread surface (or supporting surface) of the platform to pivot (wholly or partly). The mechanism according to the invention is particularly intended to overcome the problem posed by a lack of space in a stationary or mobile dwelling.
