Abstract

Forceps for microsurgery, and in particular for ophthalmic microsurgery, comprising two arms 1 and 2 connected to one another at one of their ends 4 called the "rear end" and provided at their other end, called the "front end", with points 5 facing one another and defining the pinching zone, the forceps being characterised in that the two arms 1 and 2 are housed partially with play inside a protective cap 8, the joined rear ends 4 of the arms 1, 2 being fixed to the base 81 of this protective cap.
