Abstract

Connection assembly including a junction box buried in urban land, and of square internal cross-section, and a square covering plug, characterised in that the square plug 1 is held above this square junction box by a positioning disc 3 with smooth upper and lower faces which, in conjunction with the plug, completely covers this junction box.

2. Connection assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the diameter of this disc (3) is little greater than the diagonal of the square pad.

3. Connection assembly according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the pad is kept engaged in the central opening of the positioning disc by a flange (7).

4. Connection assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the section of the square pad is equal to the interior section of the connection box.
