Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to wipe dipsticks of engines without soiling the fingers. It is produced in the form of a small accessory 1 having a lip 2 allowing dipsticks to be wiped and a container 3 intended to collect the oil from the dipsticks. The container 3 may be lined with an absorbent substance making it easy to empty the oil out after using it several times. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for wiping the dipstick of the engine of motor vehicles.
