Abstract

 The invention relates to an angle indicator for cutting hair, usable with scissors or similar instruments.

 Until now, hairdressers have relied on glances to hold their scissors at the desired angle during a haircut. This traditional means requires great skill for the result to be satisfactory.

 The invention relates to an angle indicator for haircut adaptable to scissors or similar instruments and very useful for obtaining a quick and precise haircut.

 The angle indicator according to the invention comprises a goniometer which allows hairdressers to easily hold their scissors at any desired inclination. The cutting work is accelerated and the execution very satisfactory.

 The invention will be better understood on reading the detailed description which follows and on examining the appended drawings which represent, by way of nonlimiting examples, two embodiments of the invention.

 Figure 1 is a perspective view of a first embodiment of the tilt indicator according to the invention, in use.

 In Figures 1 and 2 there is shown a frame 1 which is removably fixed by means of screws on the scissor handle A. A square hole 2 is formed in the frame 1 for the passage of a rod 3 of square section .

The square rod has an axial opening or housing 4 at one of its ends and a tripod 5 at its opposite end. A disc-shaped goniometer 6 which has a foot 7 fits into the opening 4 of the square rod.

 The goniometer 6 comprises a needle 8 which is freely mounted on a pivot 9 arranged in the center of the dial.

Under the effect of the force of gravity, the needle 8 is always pointed vertically towards the has. The goniometer 6 has two sets of graduations which indicate the angles measured both clockwise and counterclockwise from a central zero point 10.
