Abstract

The subject of the present invention is an assembly device for frames. It consists of the combination, on the one hand, of a monolithic assembly component 1 having the shape of two identical circular cone frustums of a height which is substantially equal to three quarters of the thickness of the components 2, 3 to be assembled, and which are juxtaposed so that the distance between their parallel axes is slightly less than the length of the largest diameter, and so that the large and small bases, which are perpendicular to the axes, are respectively in one and the same plane, the two larger ones forming an eight, and the two smaller ones being tangential, or very close, so that the intersection of the two cone frustums forms a triangle, and, on the other hand, of two blind holes 4, 5 each one having the shape of one of the abovementioned cone frustums and being produced at the end of each of the two components 2, 3 to be assembled, so that once these components are joined, the assembly component can be forcibly inserted into these two holes 4, 5 and presses firmly against one another the surfaces to be joined.
