Abstract
L'utilisation de tôles comportant une déformation en forme d'ondes aux deux extrémités de la largeur de la tôle comporte de nouvelles variantes dans lesquelles la corde des ondes d'extrémité au lieu d'être horizontale est verticale ou inclinée. Elle peut également être horizontale et dans le même plan la tôle ainsi raidie reposant par la partie basse des 2 ondes d'extrémité sur les poutres porteuses.

MEMOIRE DESCRIPTIF
I1 est connu d' augmenter la raideur d' une tole plane par des ondulations ou par
une serie de plis paralleles
Le brevet principal a defini un type de poutres dans lesquelles les deux extremites
d' une tole presentent une forme curviligne ou onde de grande dimension tandis
que la partie centrale de la tole legerement incurvee joue le role de 1' ame de
la poutre
le brevet principal a decrit des types de poutres dans lesquelles la corde des
ondes d'extremites etait horizontale .Cette corde peut tout aussibien etre verticale
pour 1' une quelconque des deux ondes d'extremite ou meme les deux
De plus la meme forme de tole peut etre utilisee d' une maniere differente
en disposant la corde des deux ondes d'extremite dans un meme plan horizontal , la
partie centrale de tole qui les reunit ne joue plus de role mecanique dans le
fonctionnement d' ensemble mais transmet les charges sur les deux ondes d'extremite q
sont seules porteuses
La suppression des plis ou ondes de la partie centrale permet soit d' augmenter la
surface couverte pour une tole de largueur donnee soit en conservant la meme surface
utile d' augmenter la dimension des ondes d'extremite donc la raideur et la resistanc
d'ensemble
Le dessin joint represente sur la figure I la variante de poutre a membrure
curviligne dans laquelle la corde des ondes superieures est proche de la verticale
Le raidisseur qui reunit les deux ondes symetriques presente une forme triangulaire
les potelets rep (1)t-et (2) supportent les deux extremites de 1' onde superieure
qui est fixee sur le raidisseur par le boulon (3)
L'extremite extreme de l'onde inferieure est fixee sur le potelet rep (4)
La figure 2 represente la variante d' utilisation la tole etant portee par la poutre
repere (5) a noter que les potelets ne sont en general pas necessaires car les
charges supportees sont beaucoup plus faibles que dans la premiere utilisation
Il est a preciser que la rupture de ce type de poutre se produit par un cloquage dans 1' angle de raccordement des ondes d' extremite avec la partie centrale angle represente sous le repere (6)
La resistance peut etre amelioree en utilisant un double pli au droit de ce raccordement tel que represente osus le repere (7) de la figure 3
