Abstract

The invention relates to a plumbing arrangement consisting firstly of a tap casing 8 containing an ordinary tap mechanism and surface-mounted on the wall 6 above the basin part. The basin part does not have any area intended to receive the taps, and the waste hole 5 is thus situated close to the wall and the waste pipes. The overall size of the unit is reduced and, in the case of a wash basin, the pedestal 7 can be set against the wall. This invention applies to all manufacturers of plumbing equipment.

Description

 The present invention relates to a sanitary tank-fitting assembly, having several advantages in the technical design, and in the use of the sanitary installation.

 Traditionally, sanitary appliances intended to receive and contain water (sink, sink, bathtub, etc.) have a horizontal space for fixing the fittings, commonly known as the range of fittings. This space conditions the room to a certain bulk, and to a constraining weight in the development of the fixings, especially when it is a question of ceramic or stoneware appliances, very heavy materials, the least saving of which is important. On the other hand, this range is located between the wall where the water inlet and drainage pipes are generally fixed, and the emptying of the tank, by ozi the wastewater is discharged. The drain is often equipped with a siphon preventing the rise of odors. We can hide this siphon, either using a siphon cover, or more usually, a column behind which a zone, not very accessible and particularly difficult to maintain, remains apparent.

 Certain sanitary rooms escape this imperative.

They are installed with a wall-mounted tap involving the embedding of the water inlet pipes, and therefore require heavier work, such as drilling the wall, at the time of installation, and in the event of a leak.

 The present invention overcomes all the drawbacks mentioned above. It is indeed an installation composed first of all, of a valve cover made of a box without walls at the rear and in its lower part, of the thickness necessary to contain an existing mechanism of valves . The opening / closing commands can be located on the entire front face, in which a hole has been drilled or modeled, (depending on the technique used or the aesthetics desired), which allows the water to exit, or the installation of a valve body. The complete taps are fixed to the wall, on a surface, above the device it supplies. It is either glued like tiles for example, or screwed or clipped.

This valve1 by its small footprint and its wall mounting, allows to reduce in depth and in weight the tank part of the installation, because the range of valves, previously mandatory, can be eliminated.

This saves materials, both on the part-tank and on the flow accessories directed towards the rear, since the whole part concerned is moved back to the maximum. In the case of a sink, the column can be placed on the wall. The overall size of the installation is reduced by at least ten centimeters.

 The sanitary installation according to the invention can be carried out according to all the manufacturing methods used in this field: ceramic, sandstone, synthetic materials, etc.

 It can be seen, by comparing FIGS. 1 and 2, that the tap area (1) has disappeared in FIG. 2, and that the overflow (2) is moved to the front (4). The drain (5) which must be connected to the drainage pipes, is moved about 10 centimeters towards the wall (6), and the column (7) is pressed against the wall.

 The valve part shown in Figure 3, is composed of a shell (9) with a bulk of 28 millimeters, letting pass through its lower part, the water inlet pipes (10), and also containing the spout water outlet (11), whose inclination allows it to open through an orifice (12) provided for this purpose. This shell is clipped (13) to the wall, resting on the sink (Figure 2).

 FIG. 4 presents an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the valve cover (14) of which incorporates water inlet pipes and water outlet spout. It is also noted that soap areas (15) can be preserved, and that the column (16) is pressed against the wall.

 Figure 5 shows us a variant of the invention, in which the valve cover (17) lets out horizontally a valve body (18). The water inlet pipes being always integrated, this does not in any way modify the characteristics of the invention, previously stated.

 The principle of this invention can be applied to any sanitary appliance intended to receive and contain water, and is intended above all, for the manufacturers of all sabitary materials.

Claims (6)

 1) Sanitary installation intended to receive and contain water, characterized in that it comprises a valve cover integrated into the tank, fixed to the wall, of the thickness necessary to contain an ordinary valve mechanism which opens, by its lower part for the water inlet (10), and through an orifice (12) located on the front face, for the water outlet (11), or the fitting of a valve body. The opening / closing commands can be located on the entire front of the valve cover.  2) Sanitary installation according to claim 1, characterized in that the valve is placed behind the valve cover, without requiring the range (1).  3) Sanitary installation according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the emptying (5) is located near the rear of the room.  4) Sanitary installation according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it can be applied to baths, showers, sinks, sinks or the like.  5) Sanitary installation according to claim 4, characterized in that in the case of a sink, the column is pressed against the wall.  6) Sanitary installation according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it can be carried out according to all the manufacturing methods used in the sanitary field: ceramic, stoneware, synthetic materials.
