Abstract

Device intended to produce an adjustable head intended for gripping articles. It consists of a metal frame, and of an elastic strap 7 tensioned by a winch 14. The flexible gripper 2, 3 is fastened on this strap by means of a threaded rod. The gripper is attached and fixed in a sliding clamp equipped with a groove. The axis of the hinge of the gripper passes into this groove. The device according to the invention is, above all, intended for handling hollow glasses in the glass-making industry.
