Abstract

The invention relates to a non-return valve comprising an upstream passage 1 and a downstream passage 2 between which there is located a closure member 3 returned by an elastic means 5 to a rest position on a seat 4 provided at the end of the said upstream passage 1. According to the invention, the closure member 3 is provided with a stub 7 projecting inside the upstream passage 1 without however blocking it. Preferably, the ratio between the diameter of the stub 7 and the internal diameter of the upstream passage 1 is greater than approximately 0.4. The invention makes it possible substantially to reduce the movement of the closure member.
