Abstract

The bottle (1) e.g. a champagne bottle has a recessed base (2) in which is fitted a miniature music generator. A base plate (3) with a semi-circular section and a cross plate (4) is glued to the base of the bottle. Mounted on the upper surface of the base plate are a miniature electronic music generator, a battery and interconnecting leads to supply the generator and a switch assembly. The switch is closed to operate the music generator when the bottle is lifted off a table and the switch actuating lever (6) is allowed to descend. When the bottle is set down again, the lever 6 interrupts the supply of power to the generator. A piece of paper (30) is placed between the switch contacts before the bottle is opened to prevent the generator from being actuated in transit or storage. ADVANTAGE - The bottle has a built in music generator to make the drinking of the bottle's contents a more pleasurable experience.

  In Figure 1, there is shown a bottle

  designated as a whole by the reference 1, said bou-

  teille being of the type generally used for

champagne with a hollow base 2.

  On the edge of the bottom 2 of the bottle 1 is

  glued a support 3 in elastic plastic. The sup-

  port 3 has the general shape of a semicircle with a radial strip 4, so that there are two openings

4a and 4b.

  In the extension of the radial strip 4 is cut a tongue 5 whose free end is bent

butt-shaped 6.

  On a face 21 of the support 3 turned towards the bottom side of the bottle 1 is stuck on the strip 4 a flexible and resistant sheet 22 carrying a pouch 23 in which is inserted a sound emitting organ 7 - known under the name "chip musical "and which is connected by two conductors 8 to a printed circuit board 9 comprising a switch with a fixed contact 10 and a movable contact 11 carried by an elastic strip 12 fixed to the printed circuit 9 and extended by a housing

  14 for fixing a power supply battery 15.

  The printed circuit is, by its face 17, glued on a flexible and resistant sheet 18 glued by its face

  free on the corresponding face of the support 3.

  The sheet 18 has two notches 20 in line with the tongue 5 and which determine a strip

26 which is glued to the butt 6.

  In the sheet 18 is cut a tab 27 which is glued on one of the ends of a flexible and elastic strip 28 whose other end is inserted between the two contacts 10 and 11 and has a slot 29 at the

  through which the contact passes 11.

  As seen in Figure 4, when the bou-
