Abstract

A plastic sack is provided with a rod handle by doubling over tops of the widewalls of the sack and welding them to provide a tubular pocket in which a central opening is cut to allow access to a trapped rod which provides a handle. The base of the sack may also include a stiff panel secured by additional folds at the bottom of the sack. The pockets are too short to allow disengagement of the rod, which pref. is of wood, with a circular section.
