La machine objet de I 'invention comporte un chassis horizontal mobile, les longerons latéraux étant prolongés chacun de manière symétrique par une face latérale de forme trapézoidale isocèle dont les côtés parallèles sont disposés parallèlement au sol tandis que les côtés non parallèles servent chacun de guide à un chariot mobile support de pointes permettant la prise et le maintien de tourets ou gavettes, les chariots mobiles de chacun des côtés symétriques sont mus ou immobilisés au moyen d'une transmission mécanique du type à pignons et chaîne engendrant par rotation d'un volant ou d'un moto-réducteur le déplacement identique des chariots supports de pointes se faisant face tant en montée qu'en descente de sorte à placer le touret ou gavette à la hauteur souhaitée ledit touret ou gavette étant maintenu entre les pointes lors du déplacement horizontal de l'une d'entre elles manuellement au moyen d'organes connus tel s que crémaillère et volant provoquant la pénétration desdites pointes dans l'évidement traversant aménagé sur le touret ou gavette, afin de permettre la libre rotation du touret ou gavette entre pointes, ces dernières sont montées sur roulement, seule l'une d'entre elle est dotée d'un frein à disque à machoires réglables permettant de contrôler la tension d'enroulement ou déroulement du cable lors de la rotation du touret ou gavette au moyen d'un bras articulé solidaire de la tête support de pointes mû par moteur électrique doté d'un taquet d'entraînement escamotable s'insérant dans un des évidements aménagés sur la périphérie d'une des faces latérales du touret ou gavette.
