Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel application resulting in the torch of a welding robot having a uniform and modulatable oscillatory weaving movement. The novel application employs a device characterised by the use of an adjustable cam 5 which, by means of a rod 4, imparts to an arm 9 integral with the torch carrier 1, a reciprocating longitudinal movement. Such a device, associated with a frame 7 which itself can be adjusted in the same direction, allows both perfect centring of the torch and uniform weaving about this position in terms of amplitude and frequency.
