Abstract

The invention relates to an adapter element for the body and mixing member, of the cartridge type, in hot and cold water mixing taps. This adapter element comprises two connecting through holes 20, 21 intended to connect the bottom hot and cold water inlet holes of the chamber 13 of the tap body 11 to the two water inlet holes 17, 18 of the mixing cartridge 12, the said connection holes being divergent or convergent depending on the axial offset of the holes at the bottom of the chamber 13 in relation to the holes, 17, 18 of the mixing cartridge 12.
