Abstract

The mixer tap has a housing (22) secured onto the washbasin etc. (15) and containing the valve fitting screwed in via a threaded sleeve. The bottom of the valve fitting has a shaped seat (30) onto which is located the shaped sealing end (33) of the pipe connection (17). The pipe is fitted into the valve from the top, with seal effected by screwing in the valve fitting. The pipe is shaped to fit the angled valve. One pipe is secured for each supply e.g. hot and cold water.
