Abstract

Fire survival overgarment, intended for example for use by a fireman when fighting a forest fire. Description

 Fire survival tracksuit.

 The present invention relates to a survival tracksuit for fire, intended for example to be used by a firefighter during a forest fire intervention.

 Too often, especially in recent years, firefighters have perished during their fire fighting, mainly due to the fact that they were first asphyxiated, then burned without being able to s evacuate from the burning area.

 The present invention relates to a survival suit for fire intended to make it possible to avoid these types of particularly regrettable accidents.

 It is characterized in that it comprises a hood open at the bottom, in fire-resistant material, such as in polyphenolic fiber, in which the head is put on and extended laterally and downwards by a wide cover in anti-fire material. fire, such as in polyphenolic fibers, so as to form an insulating cap in which one comes to be totally wrapped, said hood comprising at its internal part a fixing member, of the pocket type or the like, of a cartridge of respiratory gas tablet allowing respiratory autonomy at least of the order of a minute to a few minutes.
