Abstract

The present invention relates to an agricultural machine intended for the destruction of all vegetation growing above the ground, such as for example asparagus tops. The machine according to the invention consists of a member 1 for cutting the tops, a member 2 for destroying the tops by fire and a member 3 for displacing the tops from the cutting zone to the destruction zone, said member 3 serving as seal between said zones. The machine according to the invention can be tractor-drawn or self-propelled. It can be used for destruction of asparagus tops or any other type of vegetation.
