Abstract

Le convertisseur comportant au moins une charge 20 alimentée par l'intermédiaire d'un interrupteur blocable 22, est équipé d'un dispositif de protection contre les surintensités, du genre comportant une inductance de choc 10, disposée en amont d'un thyristor court-circuiteur de protection 13. L'invention consiste essentiellement en l'association à l'inductance de choc 10, d'une inductance dite secondaire 11, disposée en aval du thyristor de protection 13, les deux inductances étant montées en autotransformateur. Cette inductance secondaire génère, en cas de surintensité, une tension de soufflage tendant à provoquer l'extinction de l'interrupteur blocable en accélérant le transfert de courant de ce dernier dans le thyristor de protection 13.
