Abstract

Réalisation de perchoirs insecticides pour oiseaux de cage, par incorporation d'un insecticide organique dans une matière plastique, d'où il se dégage en surface par migration, propriété largement utilisée dans les colliers insecticides pour chiens. Le perchoir est réalisé : - soit avec le plastique lui-même, rendu rigide par une tige métallique ; - soit par introduction d'une bande de plastique insecticide dans un perchoir creux et percé de trous : - soit par application sur un perchoir ordinaire, d'une couche de latex de matière plastique contenant l'insecticide. Divers insecticides peuvent être utilisés ; ils doivent être efficaces sur les parasites visés et sans danger pour les oiseaux. L'invention cite non limitativement, le Carbaryl, le Diazinon, le Dichlorvos et, comme matières plastiques, le PVC et les résines acryliques.
