Abstract

Device enabling young children or children who have not been to school, illiterate persons, and certain categories of mentally handicapped persons to acquire a real notion of measuring the time. The system is based on the combination of the utilization of already existing products of high technology such as liquid crystal displays and microprocessors in the aim defined hereabove. The principle is the linking at a given moment of a symbol ''sun'' or ''moon'' with the symbolization of a ritual elementary act corresponding to said moment. The invention of this system finds its field of application in the electronic clock- and watch-making industry.
