Definitions
- the invention consists of:
- the time tracking and time indication system is characterized by the fact that it is obtained by assembling on a miniature double-sided printed circuit a programmable microprocessor and a liquid crystal display screen. , showing and animating these symbols.
- This system is controlled by a quartz oscillator and is powered by button cell.
- the liquid crystal screen is surmounted by a protective screen on which a permanent time representation is printed as a "mask"
- a particular and permanent animation of the screen by rotation of symbol arrows as well as a reset and calibration system are included in the programming of the microprocessor.
- This microprocessor is pre-programmed during assembly and can receive different programming.
- Figure 1 shows a possible basic graphic composition.
- FIG. 2 represents an alternative application of the system.
- composition shown in Figure 1 somehow represents the "negative draw” of the basic liquid crystal display Its dimensions can be adapted to the size of the support (watch, alarm clock, pendulum, etc.).
- This basic composition in this specific case has 54 symbols, invisible when they are not powered.
- the animation of this screen uses a miniaturized double-sided circuit on which an integrated circuit of the microprocessor type (chip) preprogrammed for assembly will control the rate of display of the various symbols.
- chip microprocessor type
- the arrows, symbols 21 to 36, correspond to a permanent animation of the screen, this in order to increase its attractiveness.
- Each arrow will remain powered for 3 secodes, the arrows being 20 in number, a complete rotation around the dial will last 1 minute.
- the numbering 7 to 22 will be done in "mask" on the protective screen. This entire system will be controlled by a quartz crystal and powered as appropriate by a button cell or any other power system. A reset system will allow the start-up and calibration of the invention.

Abstract
Device allowing infants or out-of-school children, illiterate people, certain categories of mentally handicapped to acquire a concept of real measurement of passing time. The system is based on the combination of the use of already existing high-tech products such as liquid crystal displays and microprocessors for the purpose defined above. The principle is of the alliance at a given moment of a symbol "sun" or "moon" with the symbolization of an elementary ritual act corresponding to this moment. The invention of this system finds its field of application in the field of the electronic watch industry.
