Abstract

The invention relates to a device for gripping, called a "hold" 6, which is used for climbing training. This device comprises a bearing face 9 which is adapted in order to be applied against the surface 8 of a climbing wall, a functional face 10 forming a projection, with, if appropriate, a cavity for gripping for the climb, and fastening means 12 enabling the hold to be secured to the surface or climbing wall.
