Abstract

The device consists of a combination of a rotor 1 formed by articulated blades 3 rotating at a very high speed and of a suction casing 4 in the form of a pump body supported by rolling bearing members 6 which are adjustable and which are equipped with an opening flat 8 at the front forming a deflector for turning down high vegetation. It is intended for cleaning canals and pools from a water surface, with a minimum of turbidity in order to maintain the initial depth by extraction of the algae, reeds, sand, silt and other fouling material.
