Abstract

Universal spice grinder. The invention relates to a spice grinder equipped with a universal grinder and capable of being opened and filled like a box. It uses a grinder in two parts, the internal part j of which comprises lugs b circulating in a groove made in the external part h. The upper part d of the grinder nests into the median part e by virtue of notches and recesses f, driving of the internal part of the grinder being carried out by the spindle k integral with the median part e. The lower part g is made integral with the external part h of the grinder by notches and recesses.

Description

 The present invention relates to a universal parts mill whose grinder, in two parts, is provided with a device preventing wear of the teeth; as well as the use of this grinder on a mill in three parts, which can be opened and close like a box.

 The common spice mills are equipped with a grinder suitable for grinding a single product our grinder is designed to grind most spices of common dimensions; it can be made of plastic, thanks to its anti-wear system.

 In addition, our mill assembly and grinder drive process eliminates the axis and button traditionally used for this purpose; filling the mill is easier.

The mill according to the invention consists of two parts:
- - The internal room has three floors
1) the upper floor has the shape of two half-croissants joined together as seen on the attached drawings; this particular shape allows, in collaboration with the teeth of the annular part of the bro-yeur, the admission and the grinding of most known spices, whatever their forms (peppercorns, salt crystals, rosemary needles
2) the intermediate floor is oval in shape.

 3) the lower stage has teeth, and pins which circulate during the operation of the mill in a practical circular groove at the base of the annular block of the mill, thus preventing mutual friction of the teeth of the two parts.

 - The annular part is provided internally with teeth, fine on the lower part and larger on the upper part. Its base has a groove which receives the lugs of the internal part when it is introduced into the annular part.

This crusher can be adapted to any type of mill already known or to a mill of the type described below:
The mill according to the invention consists of a body in three parts: the upper part is provided with notches which fit into practical housings on the top of the middle part; the overlapped part is thus easily removable and releases the opening over its entire diameter, which allows a very easy filling of the mill. The mill being firm, these two upper and middle parts are solid - and the user drives them in rotation by turning the upper part with one hand, while he holds the lower part with the other hand; the annular part of the grinder is introduced under the
lower paltib of the mill and is made integral in rotation by
notches and recesses; the assembly is held between the part
internal of the mill and the base of the middle mill part which are
connected by a pin secured to one of these two parts and
an opening in the other room.

The two parts of the mill are thus in mutual rotation
when the mill is operated as indicated above; the me-
-diane of the mill has a beveled projection on the base
which adjusts the upper part of the annular part of the bro
-your, thus ensuring the tightness of the system during rotation.

Figure 1 shows the inner part of the mill, viewed from
above.

Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of the part
grinder ring.

We see in (a) the particular shape of the upper floor of
the internal part of the mill, and in (b) the ergotas which circulate in
the groove (c) formed in the base of the annular pliers.

Figure 3 shows in vertical section an example of my
- stage of this grinder on a mill composed of three parts, the part
upper (d) fitting onto the middle part (*) by the play of
notches and recesses (r) made on each of these two parts;
the lower part (g) of the mill receives the external part from below
-reure (h) of the crusher b to which it is secured by notches
and recesses (i). The inner part (j) of the mill is connected
-ee at the base of the middle part of the mill by the spindle (k).

 The annular part (h) of the crusher adjusts to the bise protrusion ~ other (1) from the base of the middle part (e) of the mill.

The embodiment described from the drawings allows the
industrial manufacture in injected plastic of all
components of the mill and its crusher.

However, the invention also relates to any other method
using one or more of the means described, such as, for example,
