Abstract

Retractable and articulated plane foil device making possible complete retraction, or complete folding up or the modification of its lift by variation of its projected surface area. This device makes it possible to: - on the one hand reduce until completely eliminated the drag of the foil, - on the other hand, vary the lift of a foil via a simple command. This type of foil is applicable to all types of floats.

L'usage de plans hydroporteurs (foïls) est de plus en plus répandu pour tous les flotteurs à propulsion vélique comme pour ceux à propulsion mécanique. The use of hydroportor planes (foils) is more and more widespread for all floats with vélique propulsion as for those with mechanical propulsion.
