Abstract

The invention relates to a metal package in the form of a basket made of expanded aluminium sheet, which can be nested and stacked, which is multipurpose by virtue of its various uses in the picking, handling and transport of cut flowers, and which is designed more particularly for working with roses. The thorny nature of the flower and its difficult and injurious handling have led to the design of a package which is simultaneously rigid, light, able to be stacked and nested and able to be submerged. The package described above, characterised in that it has a trapezoidal cross-section, allowing the nesting of empty boxes and allowing stacking, is constituted by a bottom 1 integral with sides 2 and 3, obtained by folding, by an added back 4, a closure 6 articulated at 9 in the sides 2 and 3, the latter performing three essential functions: 1. Retaining strap for the flowers; 2. Cross-piece preventing the sides from moving apart or towards each other; 3. Support point for stacking. Description

 The invention relates to a metallic packaging, in the form of a bag made of expanded aluminum foil, nestable and stackable, versatile by its various possibilities, in the harvesting, handling and transport of cut flowers, studied more particularly for working roses .

At the origin of the study, the delicacy of the flower and its thorny nature, difficult to handle because it is hurtful, made us think of a metal basket, light and functional, allowing easier harvesting inside greenhouses, very rapid soaking and drip, functional handling and transport, by its ease of stacking by stacking
The packaging is designed from expanded aluminum fabric, which constitutes a kind of mesh allowing the aeration of the flowers, their soaking and their draining.
