Abstract

This extension piece is intended, on the one hand, to be screwed into the socket of a headlamp in place of a conventional reflector lamp and, on the other hand, to receive the screw cap of a lamp of the so-called "indicating" type. It is constituted by a tube T made from electrically-insulating material which is rigidly connected at its upper part TS to a metal cap CV (similar to the cap E27 of the lamps) and at its lower part to a screw socket D and by electrical conductors CD connecting the contacts of the cap CV to the contacts of the lower socket.

L'invention se rapporte à un prolongateur-adaptateur permettant d'utiliser alternativement des lampes à réflecteur et des lampes de type dit "signalisation" dans des appareils encastrés ou des projecteurs à cylindres profonds. Claims

1.- Electrical extension adapter intended, on the one hand to be screwed into the socket (D1) of a projector (A) in place of a conventional reflector lamp (LR) and on the other hand to receive the base with a lamp of the so-called "signaling" type, characterized in that it consists of a tube made of electrically insulating material, of which a metal base (CV) is made integral with its upper part (TS) ( similar to the base (E27) of the lamps), and at its lower part, a screw socket (D2), and by electrical conductors (CD) connecting the contacts of the base (CV) to the contacts of the lower socket.

2.- Extender according to claim 1, characterized in that the intermediate tube (T) is made integral with a sleeve (M) by screwing immobilizing between them the lower sleeve or part thereof.

3.- Extender according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a reflector arranged between its ends.
