Abstract

The intermediate plate supporting the newspapers 5 rises or falls with the aid of an electric motor 6 and a combination of a chain 7, toothed wheels 8, screw 9 and rack 10. The raising of the intermediate plate serves to raise the newspaper to be ejected at the level of the exit slot 14 formed by the space separating the two extraction rollers 15, and to actuate the position switches controlling the to-and-fro movements of the selector 11 and of the rack 12. Lowering the intermediate plate is used for filling with newspapers. A red warning lamp is lit when the newspapers are all gone. The dispenser according to the invention is particularly intended for dispensing newspapers or sachets of any product exhibiting characteristics - size and flexibility - comparable to those of newspapers.

Description

 Up to now, newspapers - or magazines in department stores - or supermarohes - are rarely found, ie in places where the sale of very diverse products is carried out according to the basic principle of self-service: because in newspapers - or magazines - often have articles that can be read quickly without having to buy them, and for these establishments, it will not be easy to prevent customers from doing so without jeopardizing the basic principle self service. Therefore, our device proposes to be a necessary solution to further diversify the sale of various products in these establishments by carefully maintaining their basic principle.

 There are already distributors of various products: distributors of confectionery, banknotes, subway tickets, etc ...

As for the newspapers, having their own characteristics, they also require an appropriate device: because of their formats which vary from one producing house to another, their thicknesses which vary from one day to another, and also because of their particular flexibility.

 Our device uses a money changer that we do not expose in this text: during the last 30 years money changers exist functioning more or less well, and our choice can be made only at the time of the marketing of our device taking into account the technical, economic and commercial criteria in force at that time. For now, we only say that once the necessary coins pass through the respective slots of a money changer, the money changer triggers a start signal for the operation of our device.

 The automatic newspaper vending machine comes in the form of flush-mounted modules - in a partition of a newspaper kiosk or in a closet -. The numbering of the various members of a module is done in a continuous manner, from (5) to (36), in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3.
