Abstract

Automation of a cylindrical bailing press. The object of the invention is to automate the triggering of the various stages of forming a cylindrical bail in a variable-chamber or constant-chamber bailing press. Contrary to the prior art where bailing presses did not operate continuously, the bail, in the system in accordance with the invention, itself triggers the functions in series by virtue of an automation box; binding, stopping the belts, opening the gate 5, ejecting the bail 8 after starting the belts, closing the gate and raising the table 6. The hydraulic opening of the gate takes place upwards whilst the carrying table 6, which is very much raised towards the rear, comes down towards the bottom at the same time as the gate. The hydraulic opening and closing of the gate are independent of the tractor.
