Abstract

It is constituted by a wrapping made of a semi-rigid synthetic material 1 not covering the corpse but with a bottom forming a collector and ends 7, 8 fulfilling functional capacities avoiding any spilling however the coffin is tilted. The aim is to avoid the drawbacks of the plastic cover which encloses the deceased in certain districts and which by its airtight nature slows down normal decomposition of corpses posing great problems for gravediggers who have to carry out handling operations during the first years after inhumation.

Description

 The object of the invention relates to an anti-pollution casket covering device and accelerating the disintegration phase.

 Its purpose is to remove the drawbacks of the plastic cover which covers the deceased in certain municipalities and which by its waterproofness slows down the normal decomposition of the bodies posing great problems for gravediggers having to intervene for handling during the first years after burial .

 So far, no practical solution has been found to this problem, which poses a difficult question which is difficult for the environment.

 The device 1 according to the invention provides a practical solution and moreover, by its simplicity is a very low cost price, absolutely not encumbering the budget of the families already very requested in these hard tests, while bringing on the pollution plan and industrial hygiene, a solution by suppressing effluent flows; moreover, it is invisible after dressing the coffin.

 It is made up of a semi-rigid synthetic material covering not covering the body but with a bottom forming a collector and ends providing functional capacities preventing any spillage whatever the inclination of the coffin.

 Figure 4 shows the application of the device.

 The envelope in Figures 1 and 2 comprises a housing 1 forming a support in the horizontal plane with side walls 2, 3. The upper part 4 is fully open. The bottom has a face with obliquity 5 forming a collector and deflecting the effluents towards the lower part 5. This obliquity can be single or double.

 The lower end has a cover 7 that is perfectly sealed on all of its faces.

 The upper end 8 is also fully covered and forms a perfectly sealed upper capacity.

 By its functional forms, its front, rear, right, left and bottom collecting profiles, this envelope maintains liquid effluents, despite the extreme positions that could be given to the coffin, when it is placed in the vault or in the fire.

 It removes any dangerous oozing or any projection of smelly and dangerous liquid for the living and risking polluting the environment $.

 It also allows normal decomposition of the body 9, FIG. 4, because it absolutely does not coat the latter, leaving it free from any contact with any shroud, generally hampering the development of bacterial life.

 In the case of a need for rapid reduction of the body, the envelope receives an absorbent 10, at its bottom. It will thus be possible to separate the contact body from the effluents. This absorbent will serve as a support for an agent that can act as a catalyst which, in contact with liquids, will start the disintegration process activating the proliferation of bacteria by allowing the rapid disintegration of organic matter, while mineralizing it in the short term. This makes possible a very rapid rotation of the bodies in exhumation in good conditions of industrial hygiene for operations.

 However, the shape dimensions and arrangements of the various elements may vary within the limit of equivalents as, moreover, the materials used for their manufacture, without thereby changing the general design of the invention which has just been described.

 10 Anti-pollution casket covering device and accelerating the disintegration phase avoiding the retarding effects of decomposition and suppressing effluent flows during extreme positions which can be given to the coffin during transport burial and transfer n characterized by a envelope in semi-rigid synthetic material with housing (1) forming a support in the horizontal plane with side walls (2, 3) and upper part (4) fully open. but comprising at each of its ends a cover (7, 8) forming a collector.  20 Device according to claim 1 characterized by the fact that the bottom has an oblique face (5) so as to produce a longitudinal deflector (5) with collector (6) in the lower part being provided that one can possibly practice a double obliquity.  30 Device according to claim 1 characterized in that 1 envelope preferably comprises an absorbent (10) with agents activating the decomposition and disintegration phase.
